Renewable Energy Awareness
The BPEC Awareness of Renewable Technologies Training Course is designed for anyone who wishes to know a little more about renewable energy technologies, and gain a broad understanding of a range of renewable technologies. This course us ideal for anyone looking to enter the renewable sector including; Sales staff, specifiers, architects, prospective installers etc.
The Renewable Energy Awareness Training Course is built on a modular basis starting with an introduction/context setting module which explains why we need to consider renewable energy systems within our homes. The training course then continues with further modules looking at each technology and considering what each is capable of, what it cannot provide, how it works and what the potential financial benefits and payback period are likely to be.
The technologies covered include;
- Solar Thermal
- Solar PV
- Heat Pumps
- Wind Turbines
- Micro Hydro
- Biomass
If required trainees can sit a short assessment which, if you are successful, can show you understand the basics of each of the technologies.
